Memorial Day

Sorry, this post doesn't have pictures.  I always hate that, but I really didn't take any over the long weekend.  Overall the weekend was nice and relaxing.  I wished the weather was nicer.  It was overcast and rainy for the majority of the weekend.  We did grill out on Saturday and Payton went swimming.  The water was/is freezing, but we promised her she could go swimming over the weekend.  I didn't anticipate the weather being humid, rainy and just blah.  Due to the swimming and allergies, Payton started to get an awful cough on Saturday night.  She even throw up on Sunday night from all the crap draining.  I can say this is the second time she has thrown up (and I think we are pretty lucky); however, in my opinion, there is nothing worse than vomit to deal with as a Mommy.  In all fairness, the first time she was a little over a year and it was more of a massive spit up in the middle of the night.  I remember it was blue from all the blueberries she had eaten earlier that evening.  The one on Sunday night was full blown throw up.  Sorry for the details, but that's life.

On Monday my parents got back into town, and we met my sister and Cooper there for dinner.  Cooper and Payton played and played and played.  It really was a pretty relaxing day.  We talked about our Hawaii vacation coming up, and I realized that I needed to at least start mentally planning what all we need to pack.

Let's see.............. this is Payton's last week in school.  Then there is a week break before the summer session starts.  She starts private swimming lessons next week at my parent's pool.  However, I am worried that the pool is still not going to be warm enough.

Her big recital is June 13th, a Thursday, at 6:00 p.m.  That means Mommy is going to have to take off work in order to be there to watch her performance.
