This Cinco De Mayo we didn't do anything. In full disclosure, I don't think I have ever done anything on Cinco de Mayo, so I don't feel that badly about it. However, on Friday is was Día de Niño Party at Payton's school. I took off during lunch and joined in the fun. There was face painting and....
a bounce house.
The weather would have been nice if it wasn't for the wind. Also because the weather has be so crazy, it has really thrown Payton for a loop. For example, the snow cone place is open, which we tell Payton opens in the summer.
Well, Payton associates summer with swimming. Since she got a snow cone, in her mind, it was only logical to ask to go swimming, right? When I said no there was a massive melt down.
She is giving me the evil/ feel sorry for me look.
I know it feels warm enough to go swimming one day; however, you need about two weeks of hot weather before the pool gets warm enough. For some reason, Payton didn't want to hear the reason.
I will leave off with this picture. On Sunday, Derek and Payton were upstairs when Payton came down sporting a new outfit.
I think she kind of looks like a deranged princess.
And she's off...............
