Last night was Payton's Spring performance at her school. Again, as usual, Derek and I sit there and have no clue what the kids are singing. On a side note, about two weeks ago Derek purchased Rositta Stone Spanish for us to finally learn Spanish. It is still sitting unopened on our counter. Here she is waiting for the show to start. Doesn't she looked thrilled to be there?
First song, Hola Amigos. Yes, I actually know that means hi friends. I guess those eight hours of Spanish in college actually taught me something.
That is CJ holding her hand. Too cute.......
The next song was something about an alien, hence the antennas.
This is where they start to break it down and get their groove on for the audience.
Also, we had to get her a plain green t-shirt for this little performance. The school provided the skirts. All I am going to say is that it was so hard finding a plain green shirt. This is actually a boy's shirt from Target. Whatever works, right?
Also, last weekend was our first official weekend in the pool.
Okay, so maybe it was the kids first official weekend in the pool. It was still a tad bit too cold for me to actually get in the water.
The pool temp was a warm 78 degrees. Which was actually not too bad; however, the wind was blowing like crazy. The kids only lasted about 30 minutes before they decided that they were done swimming for the day.
