Olivia

Here is Payton getting her groove on to Olivia. She loves having her dance party. It is right after the minute mark when she starts to dance.

Also, at the end is a song from baby music. I will apologize now for my wonderful vocal skills.

Camera

As promised here is some video. This is Payton displaying her skills with the camera

What Happened to the Cutest Blog on the Block?

I don't know what happened to my pretty design layout from the Cutest Blog on the Block, but yesterday I noticed it was gone. Therefore, instead of actually blogging this morning, I have wasted the first 30 minutes of my day trying to "fix" my blog with a new layout. Therefore, I will try to actually blog about Payton and all that's been going on sometime today.

Blah, Blah, Blah.......and Blah

Okay, I know I promised pictures, but here's the deal. When I went to check my pictures on my camera they were all awful and not that many of them from the trip. I guess I was so busy trying to keep up with Payton that I honestly didn't take a lot of pictures, and the pictures that I did take were taken by my Mom and not very good. Sorry Mom, but its true. There are a lot of cute professional photos that we ordered with the Disney characters, but I have to bring them to work and scan them in to upload them.

I do have some cute video as well, but I haven't brought my video recorder up to work. I know these are all excuses, and I will try my best to post some cute video of Payton eating ice cream on our trip. Can you pick up on a theme here? Lots of cute videos and pictures, but too busy to bring them up to upload.

In other news........... not too much is going on. Payton starts Mother's Day Out in August and I purchased her the most adorable backpack. I now have to get a nap mat. Payton is also enrolled in Soccer Tots for this fall. It makes me laugh because she is only 18 months old and has a pretty busy schedule already for this fall.

Payton will also be getting her 18 month check-up tomorrow, and I am not looking forward to it. I am pretty sure there will be shots involved.

However, I do have some photos of our recent trip to Hereford.

Our family and the duck pound.

Payton LOVED. I mean LOVED the ducks. She was not scared of them and wanted to go right in the water with them.

Also, Mema loves to buy Payton clothes and to have Miss Payton model them. The sad part is Payton loves trying on clothes. I think she may have been shopping one or two many times in her life.

Payton also loves shoes, and since she always wants to wear my high heels, I went out and bought her some heels of her own.

Pretty sassy.

More to Come..... I promise

Yes, we made it back from Disney and there is so much to post. However, I have so little time right now. As you can imagine, I am having to do some catch up at work. However, I will give you a brief summary(good and bad) from the family vacation.

1. "Hold you?" "Hold you?" "Hold you?" This is the phrase that repeatedly came out of my daughter's mouth during the trip. It means hold me. It got to a point when I literally could not hold her any more because my arms were jello. Sorry, kiddo, she just had to tough it out in the stroller.

2. Sunscreen + humidity = lovely breakouts.

3. "gin, gin, gin" was another phrase (again) that Payton would scream with delight when she wanted to ride the ride "gin."

4. Payton is all talk when it comes to the characters. Minnie Mouse hold you. Donald Duck hold you. Pluto hold you. Goofy hold you. However, when it was actually our turn to take the picture she would hold on to me and start waiving bye-bye and blowing kisses, which means she is ready to leave. Therefore, I once again had to be in every single picture with her.

5. The way Payton would scream (and I am not kidding) MINNIE MOUSE anytime we were near where the characters were.

6. If you cry when you drop your kid of at the nursery and a cruise member happens to see you then he may feel sorry for you and comp you some spa time. (Just saying, not that it really happened...... okay, it did and I was beyond crying).

7. Upgrading to first class on the way there (it was actually only $100.00 more total for all of us because when you fly first class your bags fly free).

8. Payton running wild in the splash pool.

9. Although I slathered so much SPF 100 all over Payton, Payton still walked away from the cruise with a nice tan. I am not kidding. My 18 month old is tanner than I have ever been in my life. Lucky girl.

10. The best part of the trip was getting to spend time with my daughter, mom, sister and newphew at the happiest (well, most of the time happiest) place on earth.

Pictures will be coming soon. Also, over the fourth we went to Amarillo and Hereford, so I have even more pictures coming.
