Yes, we made it back from Disney and there is so much to post. However, I have so little time right now. As you can imagine, I am having to do some catch up at work. However, I will give you a brief summary(good and bad) from the family vacation.
1. "Hold you?" "Hold you?" "Hold you?" This is the phrase that repeatedly came out of my daughter's mouth during the trip. It means hold me. It got to a point when I literally could not hold her any more because my arms were jello. Sorry, kiddo, she just had to tough it out in the stroller.
2. Sunscreen + humidity = lovely breakouts.
3. "gin, gin, gin" was another phrase (again) that Payton would scream with delight when she wanted to ride the ride "gin."
4. Payton is all talk when it comes to the characters. Minnie Mouse hold you. Donald Duck hold you. Pluto hold you. Goofy hold you. However, when it was actually our turn to take the picture she would hold on to me and start waiving bye-bye and blowing kisses, which means she is ready to leave. Therefore, I once again had to be in every single picture with her.
5. The way Payton would scream (and I am not kidding) MINNIE MOUSE anytime we were near where the characters were.
6. If you cry when you drop your kid of at the nursery and a cruise member happens to see you then he may feel sorry for you and comp you some spa time. (Just saying, not that it really happened...... okay, it did and I was beyond crying).
7. Upgrading to first class on the way there (it was actually only $100.00 more total for all of us because when you fly first class your bags fly free).
8. Payton running wild in the splash pool.
9. Although I slathered so much SPF 100 all over Payton, Payton still walked away from the cruise with a nice tan. I am not kidding. My 18 month old is tanner than I have ever been in my life. Lucky girl.
10. The best part of the trip was getting to spend time with my daughter, mom, sister and newphew at the happiest (well, most of the time happiest) place on earth.
Pictures will be coming soon. Also, over the fourth we went to Amarillo and Hereford, so I have even more pictures coming.
