Last Friday, Derek and I decided at the last minute to go the circus. One of Derek's friends / co-worker is a shriner and one of the big fund raiser is a circus. So Derek and I loaded Payton in the car and we were off to the circus. It really was a perfect circus to take her to because it was not too crowded and she had plenty of room to run around. Before and during intermission they had elephant rides for $8.00. Payton decided she wanted to give it a try.

I think Daddy was a little more nervous than Payton on the elephant. However, it was $16.00 well spent because that is all she talked about on the way home.
Also, about three months ago my mom bought Payton some rain boots and rain coat. However, due to the extreme drought she hasn't been able to wear them until this weekend.
