One of those Mornings

It has been one of those mornings that I would like to just start over. To say it was a rough morning would be an understatement.

Let's see........... It all started when I woke up late. Never a good thing. Derek is going to be out of town for work until Wednesday; therefore, Payton and I will be staying with my parents. So that means I need to take Daisy to daycare to be boarded until we return.

After getting myself ready and Ms. Payton ready, I picked her up to load her in the carseat. That is when she spit-up her morning breakfast all over me (I was wearing a black shirt) and herself. No time to change (either of us) so we got a wipee bath. Then I walk into the kitchen and try to clean it (put dishes away) while holding Payton and Daisy going crazy because she knows she is going to daycare. Load Payton in her carseat and open the door to get her in the car. The plan was to come back and get Daisy. Well, Daisy decides to make a break for it and heads out the front door. This is when I decided to cry. Yes, I was a little stressed this morning. Finally, get Payton in the car while Daisy is running around the neighborhood. More tears on my part. Open the car door hoping against hope that Daisy will just get in the car. Hooray..... she does, but she is all muddy from her little outing and now I have mud all over my cream leather seats and me.

Off to daycare to drop off Daisy. I have to carry Payton in with me...... she starts to scream. Drop off Daisy, put Payton back in the car and off we go to work and to meet my Mom. She is screaming and I am crying all the while I am covered in spit-up, dog hair and mud. The good news of my morning is Payton fell asleep as soon as we started going. I don't know if I could have made it to work with her screaming the entire trip.

Gotta Love Mondays!!!!

Also, we went to Tyler this weekend for my Grandfather's 75th birthday. I'll post pictures of our weekend adventures later. I don't have the energy or the time to load pictures right now.
