The Eight Dollar Bow & Eating Books

My Mom went to a new baby store and said she found the cutest bows. They were eight bucks a pop, and I figured that wasn't bad. Keep in mind I was thinking about the usual type of bows Payton wears i.e. big and colorful.

So without further ado....here is the bow?

Do you see it? That little dot on her head. Despite the little dot on her head, Ms. Payton still found time to enjoy some reading.

The book is entitled The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I guess Payton was also hungry.

After deciding the book didn't taste very good she decided maybe she would try to open it.

After reading the book, Payton seems shocked by the ending. She couldn't believe that darn caterpillar ate everything and then turned into a butterfly.

On to the next book in her chair. Notice I took the dot off of her head. The next book is entitled Help Elmo Dress (okay, I made that up, but it is something like that).

Again, Payton looks a little shocked by the ending.

This picture has nothing to do with reading, but she looks so darn cute. Also, I have seen a picture of Derek when he was about 6 weeks old making the exact same expression. I will have to scan it in and let you see for yourself.

After reading, she decided it was time for a little music and proceeded to bang on her chair for about 2 minutes.

When she got bored with that, she decided it was time to formulate a plan to escape from her chair.

So, I have to admit, I did think "wait, where's the bow??" Because I am used to seeing her with a somewhat larger hair accessory! Too funny!

Watch out Mama! If she is already trying to escape the chair - you are in for some serious activeness (is that a word?) soon. Good luck! =)

$8 bow??? You might have gotten schnockered on that deal.

I think if you are going to pay $8 for a bow then it should at least be half the size of her head. Ha ha!!

Of course, I have made my own Jillian purchases that were insane (her first Christmas dress - $$$). I am trying to be better about it.
