Being A Girl Is Hard Work

And our niece Addison can already attest to that!!! When we were in Amarillo for Easter, Addison asked me if the Easter Bunny was going to bring her mascara. I tried not to laugh because (1) she was dead serious and (2) this child was naturally born with the most gorgeous and long eyelashes. It is so not fair for a four year old to have those lashes.

I told this story to the Hubs and said that we needed to mail Addison a gift just because. He suggested we get her mascara, and I had to say that I didn't think that would be good idea, and, oh yeah, your Sister would kill us (you). Therefore, we decided to get her a hair kit.

Here she is lining up all her hair essentials to start the day. I love the flat iron and the hair dryer actually makes a noise.

First thing you need to do is dry your hair to make sure all the water is out before you apply the flat iron. Look she is such a pro.

On to the flat iron.... Little Miss Sassy already knows how to use it. Her mother must be so proud.

And before you can leave the house you have to apply your lipstick. You are never fully dressed without a touch of lipstick.

Addison is such a cutie!! Granny Camille emailed us these pictures the morning her gift arrived. According to Granny, Addison had already "fixed" her hair three times that morning. Addison also called to say thank you. There is nothing better than your niece calling you in the middle of a work day to say thank you, I love you and not to work too hard.
