Zoo and Pool 2011

Last weekend we made our second trip to the zoo. You may recall our first trip last year. We were there exactly 30 minutes because Payton had a fever, and spend the rest of the evening in the ER with a 104.5 fever. However, this year we were there for almost three hours. Payton loved it so much.

The elephants were a big hit as well.


Then we headed back to my parents house and hit the pool.


It was a great weekend. Also, the Fort Worth Zoo had a dinosaur exhibit going on as well. I was so thankful because Payton has become obsessed with dinosaurs. I blame this on Cooper because he loves dinosaurs, and of course, anything Cooper is interested in so is Payton. She kept asking me on the way to the zoo if there were going to be dinosaurs. I kept telling her I didn't think so. However, as soon as we got there she saw the first dinosaur and was in heaven.

All and all is was a great weekend, and Payton is still talking about her trip to the zoo.
