Living With the Parental Units

I have to say that we have been officially living with my parents for over a month now. I would say overall it has been a smooth transition. I am not saying it has been perfect, but overall things are going well. Daisy even seems to be adjusting and loving my parents' huge backyard. I only wish that the weather was warmer so we could enjoy the pool in the evenings.

Our house is also moving along at warp speed. They have the stone up, the dry wall is complete and it looks like they are almost done with all the trim work. I am still a little worried that they will get done too soon. One of the reasons we are staying with my parents, other than being homeless, is to save up some more money. I wasn't planning on moving in until August. However, now it looks like it could be the first of July. One month doesn't seem like a big deal, but that is one extra month with absolutely no living expenses.

Payton is also excited about the new house. She loves going over there and seeing her room. She always asks me, "Who made our house so dirty?" Then she says that they need to clean it. This summer has a lot in store as well, other than moving. We have our annual Disney trip. This time we are not doing a cruise and spending seven fun filled days there. Payton will also still go to mother's day out twice a week, soccer and music on Fridays and now we have added aqua-tots on Wednesday nights. It is sad that my two-year old has a more active social calendar than me.
