Why Did I Say It?

More importantly why did I even think it much less say it out loud. On Sunday night Pater was on an energy high. Dancing around, laughing and falling down. She was in such a good mood. That's when it happened. I made the comment to my mom that since Payton has had her tubes put in her ears she hasn't been sick and seems to be so much happier. Although you can't really control your thoughts, I knew better than to actually speak it out loud. Because guess what???????? This morning when Pater woke up she felt a little warm. I thought it was because she just got hot in her sleep with our heater on full blast. She didn't show any other signs of being sick. Then my Mom called and said she felt a little warm after music. One temperature check later and I was on the phone to the doctor. She has a fever of
101.7. Now she has an appointment with the doctor at 2:00 today. Again, why did I say that she hasn't been sick in a long time?
