I know...........

It has been awhile since my last post. What can I say........ we have a mortgage; therefore, Momma has to work. Things in our house have actually been going good. Payton is such a delight and is learning new things every day. I think one of my favorite times is her bath time. She knows when it is time to take a bath. All I have to say is bath time and she starts running (which is cuteness in itself) towards our bath saying "bath" over and over again. She also starts to try to take off her clothes. Last night she was so impatient with me. I had gotten her undressed to her diaper and was getting the bath water just right. Then I turned around to see Miss Payton trying to pull off her diaper and climb into the tub at the same time.

What else....... oh she has also gotten a little appetite. She calls all fruits apples, but she loves strawberries, bananas, cheese and green beans. She also will pretty much eat anything that we are eating. On Saturday she had pizza for the first time and LOVED it.

I have noticed that since Miss Payton has arrived we have had some new visitors to our house....... ants!!!! The ants have appeared in our master bathroom where Miss Payton takes her beloved Baths.








I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that my bath tub has turned into a garbage disposal as well. I honestly try to get all the food off of her before the bath, but every now and then I will notice a piece of cheese or noodle in our master bathroom. Therefore, Momma had to make an appointment with the Orkin man.

Payton also loves her Cooper. She loves going over to his house to play on his computer. She was at the computer for a long time. I guess she had a bunch of email to check.





I love this look. I have a feeling I will be seeing this look a lot when she gets older. It is so, "Mom, please, I am trying to get some things done here on the computer." I also love Cooper's look here. He was about to go the Fort Worth rodeo, but he had to have some milk in his favorite cup........... the shark cup.


I have also noticed that Payton has a little attitude lately. I always heard of the terrible twos, but I thought we had awhile. Payton is not terrible by any means, but can be a little stinker. For example, she knows how to say, "No, No" to me and she knows when she is not supposed to do things. It is so hard to get mad when she holds her cheese over her high chair and looks at me with the stink eye and says "No, No" and then proceeds to drop her cheese on the floor.


She also loves to model new clothes. I blame all the grandparents for this one. My Mom went to Jack and Janie to purchase a Valentine's outfit for Payton. Well, my Mom called and said that she went ahead and purchased Payton some new swimwear for our Disney Vacation and Cruise again.

How can I get upset with this little cutie? Tell me? It is so hard to get upset with a face like that. Derek and I already realize we are going to be in trouble. She is only 13 months and she knows how to play us already.
