Miss Payton did have a virus and therefore the tamiflu seemed to help. However, it wasn't until Sunday that she really started feeling better. She has been under the weather since New Year's and I have forgotten how she acts when she feels good. She is still on the icky antibiotic for her ears. She has an appointment with a Children's ENT specialist on Monday to schedule putting her tubes in. From every thing I have read it is a pretty easy procedure, but I know I am going to worry because it is MY BABY having to go through it.

Payton has been such a ham lately. She loves to dance and I have been meaning to get a video of it. It is pretty freakin' cute if I say so myself. She is also ALL GIRL. She loves her purse and shoes!!! She can say shoes and insist having them on or putting on Mommy and Daddy's shoes. She also loves her lipstick. My mom got her in the habit of putting on lipstick when my mom was putting on her make-up in the mornings. Payton knows that you put it on her lips. Mema bought her a purse for Christmas and it has a plastic lipstick in it and Miss Payton loves putting the lipstick on everyone (including Daisy!!!).

Payton's vocabulary is shooting through the roof. In addition to Mommy, Daddy, Dog, Paw Paw, Cooper (more like ooper), ball, she can say apple, apple juice, cup and up. Although, cup and up sound a lot alike. I also can't believe how quickly she has learned "no." You can ask her if she wants something and she shakes her head "no." She also loves to give sugars i.e. blow kisses or give you a big smooch. She also loves to hug. In fact, I can tell her to go give Daisy, Daddy or me a hug and she walks right over and does it.

I took a couple of pictures last night of her cracking me up. Derek got a Nike headband from his mom as a stocking gift and Payton insisted on wearing it. She looked hilarious. Jane Fonda better watch out because little Miss Payton was rockin' the workout headband.
