Same Old Same Old

Things at the Cargill household are the same as ever. Our house is still on the market, but we are not getting too stressed, yet. We have our first open the weekend of June 5th, so maybe we will receive some good news because we sure need some. Our a/c decided that it had enough and decided to take an extended leave. Have I mentioned how fun it is to sleep in a warm house? Have I also mentioned that Derek and I like to keep our house as cold as a meat locker? No, joke. We like it a nice and cool 68 degrees at all times. So this sleeping in a warm 74 degrees (because the upstairs a/c still works and it hasn't been that hot) is like sleeping in a sauna for me. I guess the bright side is we don't need a new a/c unit. We just need to replace the coils, which can't be done until Saturday. Derek and I also decided to officially put our house hunting on hold until we actually sale our house.

In Payton news, she is growing so much. Her vocabulary is through the roof. She is even combining two or three words together. She also says thank you anytime you hand her anything. I am also debating on when to start the whole potty training thing. My mom said my sister and I were potty trained by 18 months, but I don't want to rush Payton. However, she can't stand being wet or stinky. Anytime she needs a new diaper she will go and get it and hand it to us. She is also fascinated when anyone uses the restroom. I think she has a curiosity towards it, so I think I am going to buy her a potty for her 18 month b-day and let her get used to it. Depending on how she does we will go from there, but I honestly am not going to "try" to potty train her until she is two.

I also saw this car parked in our parking lot today at work. I guess they are here for a mediation, but I couldn't help but laugh and see why people like to make attorney jokes.

I also thought it was fitting that this car looks like it has been in an accident of its own.
