My mom always says that WORK is a four letter word. Right now, I believe that. Work has been a little crazy right now. Not unmanageable, but still very busy. The sad part is when I go home, I am not off from work. I have to work to put food on the table, entertain Miss Payton, get her cleaned up and ready for bed. Then I have to work to keep our house clean because it is still on the market. Not to mention find time to go to the grocery store, dry cleaners and any other errand that becomes necessary throughout the work week.
I guess to sum up and I just flat out exhausted!!!!
Payton has been a doll lately. However, her lower molars are coming through. So she has been a little cranky, but I don't blame her. Payton has also been exposed to time out in the last month. Payton has been put in time out for the following reasons:
1) No hitting Mommy
2) No biting Mommy
3) No standing in the chair.
It is kind of funny because when I put her in time out (on the stairs) she just sits there and cries. She doesn't even attempt to get up. I only put her there for less than a minute explaining to her that Mommy loves her, but she cannot hit, bite or stand in the chair. Then I pick her up and she becomes a cuddle bug.
Derek can't believe that she just sits there. However, as tears are streaming down her face and she is screaming she is holding her hands up for me to please come and pick her up. It breaks my heart, but it is necessary. She is a fast learner because whenever she does something she is not allowed to do all I have to say, is "Do you want to go to timeout?" She says no, and usually she won't try it again.
