Ten Months

I know I say this every month, but seriously, my baby is 10 months old!!! It seemed like only yesterday I was blogging about her turning 5 months old. Last night, Daddy and I did a little photo shoot. However, Ms. Payton was more interested in playing with the cap to her lotion.

Payton,

You are getting to be such a big girl. Although, you took your first steps a couple of weeks ago, and have been doing the Texas two step ever since then, this last week you have been really focused on trying to walk. You get this face of concentration as you are figuring out what you need to do be a walker full time.

You are also extremely silly. You love to laugh and fall down waiting for us to laugh at you. You are such a little ham and have to be the center of attention.

This month you have been through a lot. You have gotten your second bottom tooth (although the first one came through almost 2 months ago). Grandpat also swears you have gotten in your top left eye tooth. Although, Mommy has yet to see it or feel it. I guess you are not a fan of Mommy trying to stick her finger in your mouth to see. You have also had your third ear infection (second one in your right ear) and are taking the yummy pink medicine. You also have had your first real diaper rash. I think it is from the medicine and the teething. Poor baby girl. You also love taking your medicine out of the dropper and love playing and throwing your dropper when you are done. You also have a little arm on you. You know how to throw a ball (and anything else you can get your hands on) and you expect to have the ball thrown back to you.

You can also clap and do the touchdown sign. Daddy had to work with you on the touchdown sign, but you finally got it. You can say Mama, Dada, Bye Bye, and Hi. You also love playing the "Here you go" game. This game includes you getting any object and giving it to Mommy or Daddy. Then you hold your hand out and want it back only to give it back to us. I won't even mention how much you love cell phones, and if anyone calls you also have to "talk" to that person by crawling up whoever is on the phone and trying to pull the phone away.

Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you and all your accomplishments. You are growing and really taking this whole big world in with your beautiful blue eyes. You have made Mommy and Daddy better people and have brought so much happiness to our lives. We are doing things and experiencing things all over again through your world. We love you.

Mommy and Daddy
