Six Month In Review

I thought I would do a post letting everyone know what Payton is up to at six months. I forgot my camera, so there will be no pictures with this post. Sorry. That being said, oh my, Payton just amazes me. She is super strong. She was able to hold her bottle at 4 1/2 months and she has officially got the whole crawling thing down last week. Before she would crawl one crawl then fall then get back up and roll over and then get back up and crawl one crawl and so forth. Not anymore, now she is a crawling fool, and she tries to pull up on everything. This would include, but not limited to, her exersaucer, the coffee table, walls, daddy's legs, furniture and Daisy. She also mastered sitting up about two weeks okay. The world is so new to her now that she can sit up and play and then crawl over to her next toy.

She is also a talking fool. She screams and giggles and says La, la, la, la, la. Oh, and last week we also heard Da Da (okay if was more like Da, Da, Da, Da, Da....). However, Derek is so proud that she is now saying his name. Payton also has a great sense of humor and loves to "play" with her milk now. This includes taking a big sip of her milk and then blowing it out her month. She just smiles like it is the funniest thing. It is hard not to laugh at her when she is smiling covered in milk.

I think Ms. Payton has also discovered her tongue because she loves to stick it out and try to blow. I think this also accounts for her blowing out her milk. I can't even begin to describe her in her bath. She loves, loves, loves her baths. She just talks and splashes around. I feel like there is so much more to say, but words can't describe how much she is changing and growing. She is pure joy to be around and it breaks my heart that I cannot be with 24/7 right now.

Sometimes at night, I just stare at her angel face and cannot believe that I was blessed to be her Mom. I know I am being mushing, but it is true. She is my heart.

I promise I'll post more pictures and video soon.
