Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Atlantis

Our first full day on the cruise started off in Bahamas at Nassau. We booked the Atlantis adventure.

Once we got off the ship, in our SUV, there were a lot of curbs and we were on a tight schedule. Therefore, the cruise director for our adventure said we had to do things, "Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang Style" and he helped us lift the SUV (with kiddos and backpacks) over the curb so we could get loaded on the bus.

Payton was such a trooper and loved seeing everything. The SUV was great; however, Atlantis is NOT STROLLER friendly. Therefore, we had to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang it on our own over tons of stairs once we were there.

The main reason Grandpat picked this adventure is because Cooper loves, and I repeat LOVES sharks. They had lots of aquariums. Cooper can name every shark. Trust me when I say this kid loves sharks. There was almost a melt down on the second full day when he had to wear his turtle swimming costume because the shark one was dirty. Our only saving grace was that he still got to wear his cap with the shark on it.

Of course Payton was impressed with the aquarium; however, it wasn't long before she was preoccupied with her favorite toy....... the water bottle.

Mommy and Payton in front of the shark. Again, excuse the photography.

Atlantis really was fun, but I don't think we would do it again. It was not stroller friendly and the shops were way over priced.

Back on the ship, we cleaned up for dinner and that night's show. It was Toy Story the Musical.

It was awesome, and Cooper loved it. He kept singing, "You have a Friend in Me" all night long to Payton. I have it on video and will upload it later. Payton also loved the show. Correction, loved the first 30 minutes of the show. She was so good. She would clap her hands and laugh; however the shows started at 8:30 and she usually goes to bed about 8:00. Therefore, she would get sleepy and I would give her a bottle during the show and she would pass out.

Of course after the show, Cooper had to have a Woody doll. He already has Buzz Lightyear, so he needed Woody to add to his collection. Cooper also would jump on the bed into the pillows and say "to infinity and beyond!!"

Don't worry..... I still have two more days to post.
