It's 9:10 on Sunday Night and.....

I am at work.  Grrrr...... life is hard.  I have been here since 12:00 p.m.  We have trial tomorrow so this is the exciting life of a trial attorney.  You may be asking, Shanna if you are at work this late why oh why do you have time to blog?  That is a great question.  The simple truth is that I am waiting for the main partner on the case to come back with more work.  Therefore, until he comes back I am sitting here.  I debated on streaming some NetFlix movie on my computer, but that will be really hard to shut off quickly when he comes in my office.  Therefore, I have this tab up and my legal research tab in case I have to make a quick switch.

Let's see........what has been going on.  Derek is also at work tonight in Michigan!!!  He flew out early this morning and has hearings all day tomorrow.  So that means Payton has been at my mom's all day and she will be asleep when I get there.  However, this was pretty funny.

This would be my dad and Payton playing Princess Chutes and Ladders.  I think this is the first time my dad has ever played this game.  Looking at the picture it appears that he is Cinderella and Payton is Snow White.  I know that I work and I am lucky that my mom watches her for me, but I miss her so much.  I guess because it is not usual that I am away from her on the weekends.

I have also put up all my Halloween decorations and fall scented candles.  I just wish the weather was a little bit cooler so you can wear sweats on the weekends and not burn up.  

Well that is all I can think of right now.  My brain is fried from working all weekend and I am tired.  I wish I can say I was headed home, but I think I will be here for awhile longer.  Sigh....................
