Crazy, Crazy and More Crazy

Have you gotten the hint that things have been a little crazy lately? Well, they have. I would like to start with the heat. I've lived in Texas my whole entire life. I am used to the heat, no? However, I don't know if it is because I am getting older or because we are like on the 300th day to hit over a 100, but it is just miserable hot. I noticed on the weather forecast that it is supposed to be 103 this weekend. Oh, did I mention that we are moving this weekend. Jealous, anyone? If you are in fact jealous of moving in this massive heat then e-mail me and I'll be glad to give you directions to new house so you can help out. Usually moving is always such fun (not) and we have hired professional movers; however, it still means that I am going to have to be out in the heat for an extended part of the day. Also, our A/C will be running fall blast not only because it is a 120 outside, but also because when you move you normally keep the front and back door wide open. Therefore, not only can all the things get moved into your house, but you also get to see all the "paid air" as my mom calls it go out the door.

Needless to say, since we are moving that means we have closed on our house. Yea !!! Today at 10:00 a.m. I started signing my life away. By 11:00 I was done, and by 2:00 it has funded. I am really lucky because my mom is starting to move things into the house now that has been stored at her house. My mother-in-law Camille is coming down on Tuesday to paint the media room and bathroom. All new appliances and some furniture are being delivered on Wednesday, and we are freeing all our of stuff from storage on Saturday.

What else............. Payton is doing a great job potty training. Since we started, she has gotten tee-teeing on the potty down. No accidents. However, the other thing is still an issue. Oh well, one down and two to go. (Sorry, I know that was a really lame joke).
