In February 2010. I know it is a ways out, but I am so excited!!! Derek and I were married in South Lake Tahoe in February 2007. Tahoe is absolutely breathtaking, and Derek and I always talk about going back for our anniversary. However, we never get around to actually planning the trip in enough time to actually go. So this year, because Payton was born in 2008, we received a very nice check from the federal government. Thanks Payton for deciding to came in 2008. Not only is she adorable, she is also a great tax deduction.
So, last week I booked the hotel, and last night I purchased the plane tickets. Yippeee!!!!! Therefore, Derek and I are officially going to Tahoe in February because the airfare and hotel are NONREFUNDABLE. The only thing left to do is shop for cute "outfits" to wear on the slopes. Can you tell what my priorities are? My theory is, I know I am not a great skier; therefore, I need to look as good as possible as I (break into tears on the side of the mountain because I am too scared to continue down because the Hubs said that it was an easy blue) slowly make my way down the mountain and tip over 20 times while waiting in line for the ski lift. I can't tell you how impressed the Hubs was when he had to help me up over and over again in the ski lift line during our honeymoon.
