As soon as Cooper found out Poppy June as he calls her was here, he wanted to have a cousin meeting. He told me he was going to teach her how to walk and talk.

- Derek and Shanna
- Derek and I met in 2002 at Texas Tech School of Law. After six years of dating, Derek and I were married on February 17, 2007 in South Lake Tahoe. Since getting married, we have bought a house, had our first baby (a white lab named Daisy May) and had Payton June Cargill on December 22, 2008. Now we are adapting to life as full time parents and attorneys trying our best to raise our little girl and Daisy while keeping our sanity.
